Marina Bay Sands rises over the waterfront at Marina Bay, its three towers topped by a long rooftop deck that has become one of the city's best-known sights. It suits families, first-time visitors and groups who want everything in one place, including shops, restaurants, entertainment and a casino. The bay setting puts major attractions and gardens close at hand.
The resort is famous for its rooftop infinity pool, which is reserved for hotel guests, and for the sheer scale of its facilities. Rooms are modern and comfortable with city or bay outlooks, and the atmosphere is busy, glossy and energetic. Expect crowds in the shopping and dining areas, although the rooms themselves are a calm retreat from the activity below.
The Marina Bay MRT area is close, and the complex is linked by walkways to the nearby gardens and waterfront. Pool access and peak-hour queues can be busy, so ask about current rules. Room views differ by tower and side, so check the options if the skyline matters to you, and note that rates rise sharply around major events.

Iconic skyline, Gardens by the Bay and big-name hotels. The MRT is fast, clean and cheap. Taxis and ride-hailing fill the gaps, and most of the centre is walkable in the evening.
