Capella Singapore is a resort-style hotel on Sentosa Island, set in a quiet part of the island away from the busiest attractions. It suits couples, honeymooners and travellers who prefer a secluded, private feeling while still being close to the city. Tropical greenery and sea views give the setting a calm, unhurried character.
Colonial-style buildings and modern wings are set among gardens, with spacious rooms and villas, a spa, pools and a beach outlook. The atmosphere is serene and indulgent, and service is attentive without being intrusive. Because the property is spread over a large green area, it feels more like a getaway than a city hotel, which is its main appeal.
Sentosa can be reached by road, by monorail or by cable car, and taxis from the city are straightforward. Allow time for the transfer, since the main business and shopping areas are on the mainland. Check what is included in your room rate, and note that the island has family attractions that may be busy at weekends and holidays.

Beach resorts and family attractions. The MRT is fast, clean and cheap. Taxis and ride-hailing fill the gaps, and most of the centre is walkable in the evening.
